School holidays @ Gingerbreads
There is so much to do during the school holidays at Gingerbreads.
We believe play is essential to every aspect of a child's development. Children have the opportunity to interact with children of different ages, thereby strengthening their social confidence. Staff provide a child led environment, allowing the children to make choices from the varied activities on offer which are supervised at all times: team games, arts & crafts and organised in/outdoor games. We also ensure we incorporate celebrations, events & festivals to develop their understanding of the world, and this holiday is no exception. We shall be celebrating all things Easter, and I'm pretty sure that means chocolate with be involved somewhere! :-)
Activities are designed to keep children engaged and stimulated throughout the holiday. There is plenty of breaks for drinks & snacks to ensure children stay full of energy.

Meals at Gingerbreads Holiday Club
Breakfast - This is served to children who attend the club between 8am - 9am. We serve cereals, bread & toast. Breakfast is cleared away at 9am so we can start with the days activities so you should ensure your child arrives in good time if you require them to eat breakfast with us.
Lunch - A packed lunch is required for all children who attend for a full day or the morning session. We stop for lunch at approximately 12.30pm.
We are unable to store packed lunches in our fridge.
NB: PLEASE NOTE WE ARE A NUT FREE ZONE SO NO FOODS CONTAINING NUTS OF ANY KIND
Tea - We serve to hot meal to children who attend for the full day or the afternoon session. Children can choose a cold option if they prefer. We serve tea at approximately 4.45pm/5pm.
Snacks - We serves snacks in between meals. The snack tray usually consists of a variety of fruit, salad & vegetable sticks and a drink of water, squash or milk. Drinks are available for children to access themselves whenever they want.
Terms & Conditions
A registration form and other registration paperwork must be completed before your child's first day at the club if they are not already registered with us.
Fees are payable in full prior to your child's first day at the club. Bookings are not secure without fees being paid. We reserve the right to cancel places that are not paid for. Deadline dates are on the booking form or your invoice.
Deposits need to be paid for in full upon booking. Refer to the booking form.
Cancelled bookings are still chargeable.
Unattended bookings are still chargeable.
Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather and that it is comfortable and suitable for a day's playing, both in and outdoors. Their best clothes are not recommended.
Don't forget a packed lunch if your child is staying over lunch time.
It is not recommended that your child bring their own toys into the club as we cannot accept responsibility for them.
Only recognised adults can collect. Please allocate a password to use in situations where an alternative person collects your child.
